Description
Heelevate™ is a Fibre and Foam filled boot that floats the heel providing true off-loading and pressure relief. The foot, calf and achilles are protected by the design and shape of the product.
The Heelevate™ has two adjustable straps which help maintain the foot in neutral and aids in the prevention of Foot-drop.
The included anti-rotation wedge affixes to either side of the boot, minimising rotation of the limb therefore protecting the peroneal nerve.
Visualisation of the heel, foot and toes can be attended simply by opening the base of the boot allowing for visual and tactile observations. Skin integrity, temperature, colour, movement and pulses are easily obtained without the need to remove the entire boot. Once attended the foot end can be closed using the swing gate closure system.
